Industry: Brewery

Tusculum Brewing runs its taproom out of the historic H.O. Adler Building on Main Street, once the Bergmann Lumber Store, family-owned by Paige and Tripp Mathews. The building’s own history got a look in this magazine’s piece on H.O. Adler and the Boy Scouts.

Free Roam Brewing opened its downtown Boerne taproom in March 2022, co-founded by Jeremy Affeldt, Brandon Phillips, and Jaron Shepherd. The roughly 3,500-square-foot space seats close to 300 and regularly brings in food trucks and live music.
