Bandera Electric Cooperative has powered the Hill Country since 1938, now serving more than 29,000 member-owners across a seven-county territory that includes Kendall County. Beyond keeping the lights on, the co-op runs BEC Fiber, bringing broadband internet to members in places the big carriers tend to skip.
